Sony announces more than 50 expanded games for the PS5 Pro at launch

The PlayStation 5 Pro is almost here as it goes on sale on November 7th. If you're not sure about saving a whopping $700, Sony has just released a version that will offer enhanced versions when the console launches later this week.

This list includes modern favorites like Baldur's Gate 3, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 And God of war Ragnarök. It also offers newer games like NBA2K 25 And Dragon Age: The Veil Guardian. All in all, it's a pretty good start. The console will unlock all sorts of graphical enhancements, like advanced ray tracing, higher frame rates, and Sony's proprietary upscaling system called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution.

However, it's also worth pointing out some games that aren't on the list. Gran Turismo 7 is missing, although an expanded version has already been announced. It may not be finished yet. Final Fantasy XVI is also missing from the list, and that has . The same applies to both return And Elden Ring. Just because these games aren't on the release list doesn't mean there won't be expanded versions later. It probably depends.

The PS5 Pro offers more than just slight graphical improvements to existing titles. It has faster storage, support for Wi-Fi 7 and comes with a large 2TB SSD. Digital foundry Also found were 2GB of additional DDR5 RAM and a user-accessible battery bay. These are all nice upgrades, although I'm still not sure I need to spend a total of $700 on them.
