The accused murderer of Sister of Cash app founder Bob Lee testifies on the second day

The glamorous sister of the man accused of killing Cash App founder Bob Lee has taken the stand again in his murder trial, causing chaos – despite being the center of attention.

Khazar Elyassnia, 38, strutted into San Francisco Superior Court on Monday morning in a baby blue blouse, light khakis and her signature dark sunglasses as she continued her testimony about her brother Nima Momeni, 40, who is accused of killing Lee in the Heart of San Francisco in April 2023.

The ensemble was a fitting follow-up to her previous statement on Thursday, when she stepped out in a $5,000 Valentino Garavani dress and a $1,000 Valentino clutch, which she wore again on Monday.

On Monday, her testimony focused on her interactions with Lee's alleged drug dealer, who she claimed molested her, at a party she attended with Lee before he was killed.

During her previous time on the witness stand, Elyassnia turned the trial on its head by claiming that her brother “wasn't the one who killed Bob” – even though the defense itself had even admitted that although Momeni had stabbed Lee, she had done so self-motivated defense.

Elyassnia also detailed her hard-partying lifestyle and admitted to using cocaine, LSD, nitrous oxide and the date-rape drug GHB the day before Lee's murder.

Elyassnia, the wife of a prominent California plastic surgeon, is believed to have had an affair with Lee, with whom she regularly partied in a drug-fueled, sex-addicted, well-heeled San Francisco social scene known as “The Lifestyle.”

Prosecutors want to argue that Elyassnia's brother believed that Lee had drugged and raped her at such a party the night before the murder, that he was trying to get revenge on her.

Momeni and Lee were seen leaving the lobby of Elyassnia's posh San Francisco apartment building together in the early hours of April 4. Less than an hour later, Lee emerged several blocks away with stab wounds to his body. He bled to death shortly afterwards.

The defense has admitted that Momeni actually killed Lee, but insists that the tech millionaire was the one who attacked with a knife while heavily intoxicated. According to his lawyers, Momeni grabbed the knife from Lee and fatally stabbed him during the fight.

During her testimony Thursday, jurors were shown a text message between Elyassnia and her brother that was sent shortly after Lee's murder.

“I will get to the bottom of this and find out what happened to Bob,” she wrote to Momeni, later adding: “I will ask or the police will.”

However, according to San Francisco Standard reporter Jonah Owen Lamb, she claimed that she did not remember ever sending the message and that she was high at the time.

“I spoke to the lawyer today about your overdose and attempted rape case,” Momeni replied, before his sister denied that anything untoward ever happened to Lee.

“Lol you stupid guy, Bob never touched me, no one did,” she replied.
