The MSNBC host was stunned after asking black and Hispanic Republicans why they are voting for Trump

An MSNBC host was stunned when black and Latino voters in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania revealed why they would vote for Republican candidate Donald Trump in the election.

Celebrity host Alex Wagner sat down with members of the Black Republicans Club of Philadelphia on the latest installment of her eponymous show over the weekend and asked why they supported the former president over Vice President Kamala Harris.

A voter who comes from a Guatemalan immigrant family said immigration was his main reason and claimed the crisis at the border made people like him “look bad.”

“For us, it's just that the new immigrants are more violent, there's more chaos, they do more bad things than anything else, and we've been here longer than them,” Dorian Urizar told the host.

“And it's starting to affect us more because things are being stolen, they're making us look bad as immigrants, and we've stayed longer than them, and we're being misrepresented even more because of them.”

In a surprising twist, Dorian Urizar (left), a Guatemalan settler, said new immigration was their main reason – claiming it made them “look bad.”

While he added that he wasn't sure he supported Trump's policy of mass deportations, he believed that “it's a good idea for the immigrants coming in because they're the problem.”

While Urizar expressed mixed emotions, Pastor Philip Fisher expressed his full support for the controversial policy.

“I largely agree with the idea of mass deportation. “We have criminals in this country who are destroying our nation. They come here and get earmarked bills, policies to open businesses, free housing and access to welfare and other benefits more easily than others,” he said.

“So as taxpayers we have to pay for these people to have a luxurious life and we get nothing.” Especially black Americans who have suffered so much in the Democratic system.

“We're not getting anything.” That's crazy.'

Sheila Armstrong, another ardent Trump supporter, agreed with the former president's longstanding claim that “illegal aliens are taking black jobs.”

“Well, first of all, they are. They are illegal immigrants. They take jobs that belong to the citizens of this country. It's simply the fact that Trump is saying it out loud. “That’s why we stand behind Trump because ultimately that’s what we’ve been calling for as a community,” Armstrong said.

“The part that drives me crazy about immigration is the fact that I feel – and I really do – that the Democrats celebrate people who break the law.” Why create the law, a whole process for immigration so you all break it?'

“They think Republicans have so little idea of what minorities need that (voters) have no choice.” “I think that will be a big surprise (on Election Day),” Butt said.

“A lot of people just walking down the street have no feeling for the Democrats.”

Robert Williams added: “The black men who are not voting for the Democrats is not because of what Mr. Trump did, but (because) they were disappointed by (the Democrats).”

“(Trump) doesn’t take any nonsense. He won't hear it. He is a businessman. He's not here for casual politics talk. We need someone strong. We need someone who will get to work and care about the needs of this country. But he also understands what the community needs, said Pastor Philip Fisher

The discussion came weeks after an NBC/Telemundo poll showed a decline in Latino support for Kamala Harris.

Support for Harris was 54 percent, according to the poll, while Trump was at 40 percent. Six percent said they were unsure who they wanted to be president or would not vote.

While Harris enjoys a whopping 14-point lead over Latinos, this is significantly smaller than previous Democratic presidential candidates.

President Joe Biden had a 36-point lead among Latinos in 2020 and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had a whopping 50-point lead over Trump.

Former President Barack Obama had a 39-point lead over former Gov. Mitt Romney.

Trump received higher marks than Harris in the areas of economics, handling inflation and cost of living, and border security and immigration control.

Harris received more positive reviews for competence, honesty and having the right temperament to be president.

Overall, 77 percent of voters in the survey said the economy was mediocre or poor, while just 23 percent said it was excellent or good.
