The voice: Gwen Stefani enjoys her “winning streak” and joins the candidate for an impromptu appearance

Gwen Stefani was on a “winning streak” and took the stage for an impromptu appearance with a contestant on Monday's episode of NBC's “The Voice.”

The 54-year-old pop superstar brought in three singers to join her team, including a four-seater, while the blind auditions continued with Gwen, Reba McEntire and new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.

The two-hour episode received a shot of rock energy as Crystalla Gonzalez, 34, of Queens, New York, delivered a strong rendition of “Heartbreaker” by Pat Benatar.

None of the coaches turned their red chairs, but Gwen encouraged them to keep trying.

“You’re so close. Don't stop. People keep coming back here. “We started No Doubt when I was 17. I got into radio when I was 26. Nine years in the garage,” Gwen said.

“You’re one of the reasons I started a rock band in the first place,” Crystalla said.

“Wow, I can't believe she didn't turn around,” Michael teased.

'Oh my God. NO! “What if we sing 'Just A Girl' together?” Gwen said.

“Are you serious?” Crystalla said.

Gwen took the stage, hugged Crystalla and began singing the song as Crystalla joined her. They held hands as they sang and raised their arms together to the lyrics.

Michael praised Gwen for being an “amazing person” and turning a “no” into the “biggest yes” of the day.

“It’s impossible that she didn’t feel like she was an absolute winner,” Michael said.

Reba told Gwen that she was “on fire” and Michael agreed.

Gwen also scored with Felsmere, 33, of Vero Beach, Florida, who was a recurring contestant after appearing on the first season of The Voice.

Felsmere belted out “Some Kind Of Wonderful” and Michael also turned his chair for her, but she left with Gwen.

Gwen also competed against Michael for 23-year-old country singer Rowdy Shea from Bowling Green, Kentucky. The newlywed contestant left the decision up to his wife and she chose Gwen as his trainer.

The final singer of the episode was Austyns Stancil, 34, of Oakland, California, who delivered a smooth and powerful rendition of “Ooo Baby Baby,” making all four judges turn their chairs.

Snoop Dogg praised his range, saying, “I understand how you attacked us in falsetto once.” Do you know what I mean? I can understand that.'

Gwen, returning for her eighth season as coach after a year-long hiatus, also made a strong impression for Austyns after putting on her “fighting gloves.”

“You're so good in every part of your voice.” That made me turn around. Technically it's great, but how do we find out who you are? And I think that's something I could help you with if you were on Team Gwen,” she said.

Gwen stood up and asked Austyns why he would choose one of the “newbies” Michael or Snoop when he could have their experience.

“Winning on a four-chair turn is another level.” I'm on fire. I think I’m on a winning streak, so to speak,” Gwen said.

Gwen went to Austyn's, hugged her and admitted it was a “shock” to get him.

Long Beach, California native Snoop praised his “California Housewife” Gwen for being a “steady professional” after snagging Austyns, but warned that there's something that “nobody understands.”

“There’s a day your artist won’t be happy. “And then I’ll steal,” Snoop said with a laugh.

The episode began with Dreion, 27, of Omaha, Nebraska, performing “Shining Star” and making all four chairs spin. Dreion chose Snoop as his trainer.

“It was like a Super Bowl win for me.” I’m the newbie, so to speak. For a rookie that means 50 points, 25 rebounds and 13 assists. “Hey, this is what I do,” Snoop Dogg said.

Mor Ilderton, 20, of Teays Valley, West Virginia, sang Whitehouse Road, making Reba and Michael turn around. However, Michael blocked Reba and brought Mor for his team.

Kamile Kiehne, 17, of Los Lunas, New Mexico, took on Black Velvet and got Snoop, Reba and Michael to spin their red chairs. Kamile decided to join Team Michael.

Trio 323 from Tallahassee, Florida impressed Reba and Michael, who both swiveled their chairs. They chose Reba as their coach.

Gail Bliss, 61, of Little River, South Carolina, sang “If It Hadn't Been For Love,” but none of the coaches turned their chairs. However, Snoop Dogg took advantage of his coach's repetition to add Gail to his team.

Snoop said his mother's spirit was within him and revealed that his mother's sister was named Gail.

The rapper added that she was one of his “favorite aunts” before hitting his coach's replay button on the singer.

Gail hugged and kissed Snoop as he took the stage, and she cried with joy as he wrapped his team chain around her.

The Voice will return next Monday on NBC.
