“TikTok personality” arrested as a person of interest identified in the Abraham case

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Law enforcement has arrested a “TikTok” personality involved in the murder of psychiatrist Dr. Nick Abraham of Baton Rouge is wanted.

According to Baton Rouge Police, Dallas police officers arrested 20-year-old Terryon Ishmael Thomas of Newellton, Louisiana, in Texas on Tuesday afternoon, October 1st.

The suspect must now face a judge in Texas for an extradition hearing. During this hearing, the judge will determine whether the suspect should be sent back to Louisiana to face charges under the Baton Rouge Police Department warrant.

Thomas' arrest warrant lists charges of aggravated property damage, resisting an officer and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police said Thomas was a popular “TikTok” personality known as “Mr. Prada.”

Baton Rouge police have issued an arrest warrant for a “TikTok” personality involved in the murder of psychiatrist Dr. Nick Abraham of Baton Rouge is wanted.

The arrest warrant did not contain any charges related to Abraham's death.

All charges related to Thomas allegedly crashing the doctor's stolen vehicle Monday afternoon in Baton Rouge when police tried to stop him on Sherwood Forest Boulevard. Police said the person in that vehicle got out and fled and was not arrested. However, an officer later picked Thomas out of a photo lineup, the arrest warrant states.

Abraham, 69, was violently attacked and his body was wrapped in a tarp and dumped next to a highway in Tangipahoa Parish, where he was discovered Sunday morning. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker said.

Investigators believe Abraham was killed on Saturday, but do not know where the murder took place.

A search of his home on Corporate Boulevard in Baton Rouge revealed no signs that a crime was committed there, investigators said.

On Monday evening, investigators released photos of a “person of interest” in the case and said the man in the photos was the last known person to drive Abraham's car.

The photos came from a surveillance camera at a store “in the Juban Crossing area,” investigators said.

Juban Crossing is a shopping center off Interstate 12 in Livingston Parish. The pictures were taken on Sunday.

Family members say Abraham will be buried next week in Mississippi.
