If the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders want to have legitimate playoff aspirations this season, Week 4 of the 2024 season could be remembered as a defining moment. The Raiders host the Browns on Sunday, with each team sporting a precarious 1-2 record and a delicate quarterback situation after three games.

The Browns (1:2) suffered a 21:15 home defeat against the New York Giants, in which highly paid quarterback Deshaun Watson once again showed a disappointing performance. The dual-threat version of Watson for the Houston Texans hasn't shown up much in Cleveland, but benching him might be too costly. Maybe a visit to Vegas will help.

The Raiders had to bench starting quarterback Gardner Minshew after suffering a major deficit in their disappointing 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3. Aidan O'Connell came under center and led a fourth-quarter touchdown drive, but Las Vegas coach Antonio Pierce said this week that Minshew will remain the Raiders' starter at quarterback against the Browns in Week 4.
