Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is getting a feature film, with John Krasinski returning to the role and series veteran Andrew Bernstein taking over as director

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan returns with an explosive feature film starring John Krasinski as the titular CIA analyst.

After setting the Prime Video subscription on fire with the series adaptation of Jack Ryan by Tom Clancythe character returns and John Krasinski once again takes on the title role of the action-oriented CIA analyst. Wendell Pierce (The wire) joins the project as his favorite character James Greer, while Michael Kelly is in negotiations to reprise the role of Mike November. The alum list includes Andrew Bernstein, who served as executive producer and director on the series' second season and is directing again from a script by Jack Ryan creative Aaron Rabin.

Under the direction of John Krasinski, Jack Ryan brings Tom Clancy's classic literary property into the modern era. The series ran for four seasons on Prime Video, where it streamed like gangbusters and burnished Krasinski's already shining star. In addition to reprising his lead role, Krasinski is also a producer of Jack Ryan Film with Allyson Seeger through her Sunday Night Studio. Andrew Form also produces.
