Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar's “Goosebumps” video reaches more than a billion views on YouTube

Eight years later, we still get goosebumps every time. Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar may need the Heimlich after seeing the visual for their 2016 “Goosebumps” collaboration recently surpass one billion views on YouTube.

The trippy, BRTHR-directed clip gives Scott his second entry into the Billion Views Club after 2018's “SICKO MODE,” while K. Dot made his first appearance as a guest on Taylor Swift's “Bad Blood (Remix).” It shouldn't be long before Lamar releases a solo video with a billion views DAMNED.'“HUMBLE” currently has 997 million views.

In the video, Scott gallops through the city and reminisces about a lost lover during the psychedelic-tinged visual before Kendrick rushes into battle.

“Goosebumps” originally ended up on La Flame Birds in the trap sing McKnight album in 2016, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with a total of 88,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week.

The spooky, Lamar-assisted banger had a slow burn on the Billboard Hot 100. After debuting in September 2016, “Goosebumps” didn't pick up steam until 2017, peaking at No. 34 on the Hot 100 chart on May 25, 2017.

The rousing anthem ended up staying on the Hot 100 for 35 weeks, the second longest of any Scott hit after the three-part rollercoaster ride “SICKO MODE” (52 weeks).

More recently, La Flame has added to the nostalgia with the re-release of his 2014 album days before the rodeo Mixtape in August, available for the first time on streaming services and topping the Billboard 200 chart this week.
