Troy Aikman calls Taylor Swift “The Mrs.” during Chiefs' “MNF” game

What's going on with these former Cowboys quarterbacks? Last year, it was Tony Romo who mistakenly referred to Taylor Swift as Travis Kelce's “wife” while calling Kansas City Chiefs games – she is not married to the tight end, whom she has been dating for a year. Then, on Monday night (October 7), another former Cowboys quarterback, Troy Aikman, referred to Swift as “the woman.” when the camera switched to the 34-year-old star after a play by Kelce in the second quarter.

“The woman likes it,” Aikman said as the camera flashed to Swift's celebration in a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium, where she was joined by her father Scott Swift (as well as Travis' father Ed Kelce). Fellow broadcaster Joe Buck quickly corrected the error, saying, “You know you're not married?”

“Oh, I know,” Aikman replied. “I’m sure I’ll get in trouble if I say that.”

After missing two games, Swift returned to the suite on Monday night in a plaid dress paired with knee-high boots and sparkly freckles. Whether he was celebrating his 35th birthday over the weekend or having Swift back in the house, Kelce seemed full of energy in the 26-13 win over the New Orleans Saints, posting his second-best total of a lackluster season with nine catches for 70 yards, to help the Chiefs make it 5-0.

Travis wasn't the only one happy to have Taylor back on Monday. His older brother, retired NFL legend Jason Kelce, took a moment during the audition to appreciate Swift's fashionable arrival at Arrowhead. “Hey, look at this now…that looks good,” Jason Kelce said as the camera panned to the singer making her entrance.

Swift celebrated the Chiefs' fifth straight win to start the season – they are one of two undefeated teams so far this season – by taking a photo in the VIP suite with Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. , made PeopleGordon asked Swift, “How do you feel after this win?” as the couple stood in front of a framed poster from Taylor's Eras Tour.

Noticing her picture on the wall behind them, Swift joked, “I'm sorry I took a picture of myself.” Swift is preparing to hit the road again on October 18 with the first of three performances at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami to go.
