Trump wins the presidency, Harris will address the nation today

Harris campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon sent a letter to all campaign staffers on Wednesday, Fox News Digital has learned. The email said:

“Just moments ago, the Vice President contacted President Trump about conceding the race. In the call, she told him that she would work with President Biden to ensure a peaceful transfer of power, unlike what we saw in 2020. You too,” made it clear that she hopes he will be a president for all Americans.

I am at a loss for words to express my gratitude to everyone who receives this email. You left everything on the field. They built a first-class, historic presidential campaign in virtually 90 days. They have navigated things that no one has ever had to deal with before and that no one will likely ever have to deal with again.

They faced unprecedented headwinds and obstacles, most of which were beyond our control. We knew this was going to be a mistake game and it was. And your work was important: the whole country was moving to the right, but compared to the rest of the country, the embattled states saw the least movement in its direction. The places where we took part were the tightest. This speaks both to the work you have done and to the magnitude of the challenge that we ultimately failed to overcome. The vice president will address the nation later today at Howard University.

Immediately following the Vice President's speech, she and Governor Walz will host an all-staff conference call to speak directly to you about what we have accomplished in this short period of time and what the road ahead looks like for all of us.

We hope you'll join us and will receive a calendar invitation shortly. I'll leave you with this: losing is incredibly painful. It is difficult. Processing will take a long time. But the work of protecting America from the effects of a Trump presidency begins now.

I know the Vice President is not finished in this fight, and I know that the very people in this email will continue to lead this shared mission. Consider this the beginning, not the end. It will be hard work. But as the boss says: hard work is good work. And I look forward to standing by your side.
