UEFA Champions League Predictions: Matchday 10/2

The second week of the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League comes to an end on October 2nd as Aston Villa hosts Bayern Munich at Villa Park, Liverpool, Juventus and others in action. SI Soccer gives our predictions for every game.

Prediction: Shakhtar Donetsk 0-2 Atalanta

After a hard-fought draw against Arsenal at home, Atalanta take three points away.

Prediction: Girona 2-1 Feyenoord

Girona were unlucky to concede an own goal in the 90th minute in their opening game against PSG. The La Liga side are coming off a win against Feyenoord here with Santiago Giménez out.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 Bologna

The Reds' strong start to the season under new boss Arne Slot continues at Anfield vs. Bologna. It may not be as comfortable as Liverpool fans hope, but the English giants should have enough to claim their second European Cup win this season. -Braden Chalker

Prediction: RB Leipzig – Juventus 1:2

RB Leipzig is capable of springing a surprise against the Old Lady with players like Benjamin Šeško and Xavi Simons, but Juventus' quality in attack is on another level. Leipzig will score first with Juventus' second goal of the season, but the visitors will be able to take all three points again at the Red Bull Arena. -Braden Chalker

Prediction: Lille – Real Madrid 1:2

Los Blancos are desperate to bounce back after dropping points in La Liga at the weekend. Expect Ancelotti's side to thrive against a Lille side that has just one win in its last six games. -Amanda Langell

Prediction: SK Sturm Graz 1–1 Club Brugge

Both teams lost last time and both teams will come away with a point here.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1-4 Bayern Munich

Vincent Kompany's side defeated Dinamo Zagreb in their last game, including four goals from Harry Kane. After a disappointing draw against Ipswich Town in the Premier League, Bayern's attack will be too much for Unai Emery's team. – Max Mallow

Prediction: Dinamo Zagreb 0-2 AS Monaco

AS Monaco claim another victory in the Champions League after defeating 10-man Barcelona last time out.
