Not enough people are talking about Maggie Rogers. Many came across Roger's song through her song “Dawns” with Zach Bryan, but her solo works have stunning lyrics and a style that differs from most modern, popular music.

She is currently on her “Don't Forget Me” tour, the name of her latest and third studio album, which was released in April this year. Although she had a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden on October 20th, proving that she deserves a permanent place in the music industry, her name doesn't carry the same weight as artists like Sabrina Carpenter or Clairo.

Rogers' interesting and creative mind contributes to all of her work. She has synesthesia, which means she can see and hear music in color. This deep connection to their music is evident in their albums.

Her first full studio album, Heard it in a Past Life, was released in 2019. The album cover features a photo of a young Maggie Rogers seemingly floating in space. That's exactly how the mood of this album can be described. It's full of youth and insecurity, but not necessarily bad.

If I were to give an aspiring fan a Rogers song first, I would have them listen to “Light On,” a single from that LP.

Her next two albums are different from her first. “Surrender” was her second studio album released in 2022. This album is full of songs about breaking with youth.

“Anywhere With You” from this album is arguably one of the best songs in their discography.

That brings us to their latest album, Don't Forget Me. This album feels the most mature and reminiscent of her three albums. This is her best body of work. Each song is peppered with unforgettable lyrics and heartbreak that will keep the listener coming back for more.

Rogers has made amazing progress this year. From selling out MSG to performing at Kamala Harris' rally, she's quickly thrust into the spotlight. Her courage and unique musical style deserve more than enough popularity.
