USCIS Unveils Plans for Follow-On Contract for EIOSS IT Support

The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services plans to launch a competition for a follow-on contract to provide government-wide adoption of IT support services for businesses.

According to a note published Tuesday in the Acquisition Planning Forecast System recompetite Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Support Services, or EIOSS-2has an estimated value of between $50 million and $100 million and includes infrastructure engineering, operations and maintenance, and cloud and security operations support.

The APFS notice states that EIOSS-2 will include responsibility for processes and responsibilities related to the design, engineering, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance, and operation of the requested services across USCIS, including key aspects of workload, management of assets and task coordination.

General dynamic information technology is that acting contractor to the first iteration of the EIOSS GWAC.

USCIS plans to issue a request for proposals by July 2025 and expects to award the recompetitive contract by the second quarter of fiscal year 2026.

Contract work is expected to be performed in Camp Springs, Maryland and will run through March 21, 2031.
