“Voice” star Michael Bublé says this former coach convinced him to join Season 26

With the latest season of The voice Viewers are already excited about the two new coaches who have joined the cast of the singing competition show. Newbies Snoop Dogg And Michael Bublewho joined experienced judges Gwen Stefani And Reba McEntire for Season 26 have already become fan favorites, even though it's only the third week of the series. And what has made fans fall in love with Michael even more is his revelation about what he used to be like Agree Judge was the only reason he ended up on the show.

In an Instagram reel filmed during preseason and shared jointly by the 49-year-old singer and the hit NBC show, Michael revealed the country singer and ex-singer Agree trainer Blake SheltoN was the one who convinced him that he should join the show.

“You know, I love Blake and he's a great friend and he talked me into it. To be honest, he talked me into it. And a big part of that was the people they brought with them,” Michael says in the clip.

Blake, who was one of the original four trainers when the series premiered in 2011 and is now married to current trainer Gwen, left the series in May 2023 after 23 seasons (making him the series' longest-serving original trainer). Naturally, fans on social media were thrilled to hear that the Oklahoma native was the main reason Michael joined as a judge, with many commenting that they were happy for the encouragement.

“Overjoyed you joined the Voice!! ❤️,” one fan wrote under the clip. “Uncle @snoopdogg and Pop @michaelbuble are two of the most genuine souls I have met in this process! I love our coaches 🤘🏾✨,” said another. “I love that Michael is on the show this season 🤗🤗,” someone else chimed in. Another person commented: “Best (judge group) with the addition of @snoopdogg and @michaelbuble! So entertaining and I just love this addition to the show!” “

And fortunately for Michael Bublé lovers, it has already been confirmed that he will return alongside the newcomer for season 27 in the spring Kelsea Ballerini and experienced trainers John Legend – which returns for the tenth time after a year-long break – and Adam Levinewho returns for his seventeenth season and was one of the original trainers along with Blake in the first season, Christina Aguilera And CeeLo Green.
