Watch: Hands-on with M4 MacBook Pro, iMac and the new Mac mini

YouTuber Brian Tong brings us a nice video from Apple's hands-on showroom event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where developers can try out the new M4-based Mac lineup for the first time.

You can see size comparisons with the new Mac mini alongside the old Mac mini and even the Apple TV. The new iMac colors (and nano-texture screen coating) were also on display. Apple also had demos set up showing Final Cut Pro running on the new MacBook Pros M4 Pro and M4 Max…

Instead of inviting the press to a traditional event format with a live streaming video, Apple tried something different this week. Every day, from Monday to Wednesday, Apple announces a new product on its website. On Monday it was the iMac. On Tuesday it was the turn of the Mac mini. The celebrations ended on Wednesday with the MacBook Pro.

Then, after announcing the MacBook Pro online, Apple invited a number of developers to its hands-on area in LA to capture their first experiences with the new Macs.

You can expect official press releases next week before these products launch on November 8th.
