USC Football is looking to get back on track in Week 8 of the college football season – and it will do so with a cross-country flight.

After two straight losses, Lincoln Riley's Trojans (3-3, 1-2 in Big Ten) travel east in Week 8 for their furthest road trip of the season to face Maryland (3-3, 0-3) on Saturday at SECU Stadium in College Park, Maryland.

Riley's team dropped out of the national polls this week after losing 33-30 in overtime to No. 3 Penn State. All three of USC's losses this year have been within one score. Trojans quarterback Miller Moss ranks fourth in the Big Ten with 269.7 yards per game through the first seven weeks of the season.

Since USC moved from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten last offseason, Saturday's meeting just outside the state capital will be the first between the Trojans and Terrapins. Maryland suffered a 37-10 loss to Northwestern last week.

USC 35, Maryland 14: While it's difficult to predict how a team will perform after traveling from coast to coast, USC should get back on the winning list and overcome its two-game losing streak with ease on Saturday. On Saturday, winning on third down and keeping the Terps off the field will be crucial for the Trojans.
