A case in point is the annual Austin City Limits, held March 4-6. and 11-13. October brings over 130 (!) acts to Zilker Park for two oversized weekends of rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B, punk, country, soul, Latin, psychedelia, dance music and more.

Some of the most notable names on this year's bill include pop icon Dua Lipa, It girl Chappell Roan, country superstar Chris Stapleton, punk heroes Blink-182 and trippy group Khruangbin.

They are joined by Sturgill Simpson, Norah Jones, Tyler, The Creator, Teddy Swims and Benson Boone.

Pretty Lights, Leon Bridges, The Marías, Dom Dolla and Carin León will also be there during the two long Friday, Saturday and Sunday stays.

Classic rock legends Grand Funk Railroad will also be there.
