The very first season of “The Golden Bachelorette” has begun with leading actress Joan Vassos in search of love.

A fan favorite has already emerged after the premiere: Charles Ling, a 66-year-old retired data analyst from Malvern, Pennsylvania. Viewers were captivated by Ling's sweet and gentle personality, but also by his sense of humor. Charles L. showed his appreciation for the Bachelor Mansion by walking around and inspecting all of the residence's appliances and features, while also providing his own commentary.

Luckily, he got a rose at the end of the episode, but some men weren't so lucky.
